Morning Immunity Elixir

Feel like you might be coming down with a cold? Take 5 minutes to whip up this healing Elixir, and your immune system will go into full-effect to beat out the bad guys...not to mention, it's delicious!
Servings 2


  • 2 cups water
  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
  • small pinch black pepper
  • small pinch sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup


  • Heat water in a small sauce pot till simmering. Add chai tea bag and simmer 1 minute. Add lemon juice, spices, ginger and honey and simmer another minute. Serve!
  • OPTIONAL: Add a few tablespoons of coconut or almond milk for creaminess
