Snickerdoodle Latte

Waking up to this decadent, creamy and nutrient-packed latte is my new favorite way to start my mornings!
Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups brewed coffee or chai tea steeped at least 10 minutes
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened creamer of choice
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened unsalted almond butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar optional but makes for an authentic flavor
  • Optional: sweetener of choice to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, creamy and frothy.
  • Pour into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer until it reaches your desired drinking temperature: this is approximately 1-2 minutes for me.
  • Pour into your mug of choice and enjoy!
