Chocolate-Covered Almond Butter Stuffed Dates |

Sometimes, it's really best to let a recipe speak for itself and keep words to a minimum.
So I'm out, yo. Make these.

J/K...sort of. I want to tell you just enough about these almond-butter stuffed chocolate-covered gems to convince you that they are the PERFECT treat for Valentine's day. And if you didn't know, any day can be Valentine's day to yourself, if you so choose.
Seriously, these are healthy enough to feel good eating and giving them. Dates are a fantastic source of dietary fiber, as well as essential minerals potassium and magnesium (think proper nerve and heart function). Almond butter adds some nice protein so these treats digest more slowly than the average bon-bon or truffle, staving off any blood sugar spikes. And we all know that high-quality chocolate is packed with antioxidants, because the first hormonal human to discover said fact made sure to splash it across the net (and I bow down in gratitude).
So there's all of that. But if you don't care a lick about the macros and micros of your desserts, know that these are just plain insanely cantstopwontstop de-flippin'-licious. They truly taste like a Rolo/Snickers hybrid that decided to clean up its act and swap its milky chocolate coat for the good dark stuff. The combination of chewy, creamy, crunchy and nutty is absolutely unbeatable, and you'll wonder why the heck your 7/11 didn't have THESE after middle school softball practice.
Ok, I've already gone over my self-prescribed word limit, and I hope I've done these babies proud. Make them for your BAE this Valentine's day, and seal the deal of his/her eternal love!
