After graduating from the University of Virginia, I discovered my passion for cooking and nutrition while living a fast-paced corporate life in New York.
I handed it all over to enroll at the Natural Gourmet Institute and headed back to my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, to launch LLBalanced, a popular food website, where I provided readers with affordable, comforting and make-ahead family-friendly meals that are packed with nutrients and flavor.
I taught cooking classes and consulted with individuals, corporations, and restaurants while contributing articles and recipes for, among others, Mind Body Green, Nashville Lifestyles, Southern Living, Shape, and Greatist.com.
In the winter of 2021, my entire career trajectory took a turn, when I experienced the worst heartbreak of my life. I ended up hiring a coach, and she was the first person who taught me that how we THINK dictates the results in our life, including our relationships patterns. As I began to rapidly heal, I became fascinated by the science of romantic grief, attachment theory and subconscious reprogramming, in addition to the conscious thought rewiring I had been doing. I also wanted to apply my holistic chef knowledge to what the body experiences in heartbreak. I spent the next two years putting all of the above knowledge into a research-backed protocol, and I started coaching other women in the depths of their despair.
Fast-forward another year and a half, and I have successfully helped hundreds of women heal in my private coaching container, as well as thousands of others through my social media outlets. I also now have a certification in Integrated Attachment Theory through the Personal Development School.
All of my new offerings of this nature are backed by Vanessa McIntosh, PhD — a 2x award-winning Dr of Psycholinguistics and soon-to-be-published Hay House author certified in 5 different psychotherapeutic modalities.
