LL's Green Tea Herbal Refresher |

Hello my sweet friends!!!! My focus has been a little split recently, as...
I'm officially writing a COOKBOOK!
Even as I type the words it feels surreal. I've dreamed of writing a cookbook ever since I fell in love with cooking and nutrition, almost 6 years ago, and I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to bring this vision to life! As I go through this process, PLEASE feel free to reach out to me with recipe requests and questions you want answered in the book...I am doing this as much for you guys as myself!
In the meantime, I will still be sharing recipes on LL Balanced! Today's recipe dove tails on last week's, where I showed you how to make my Morning Immunity Elixir, the perfect warming beverage when you feel like your immune system needs a boost. Whereas this is more of a "special occasion" drink, this Green Tea Herbal Refresher is a daily option that is absolutely in time for these warmer months.
I started making this beverage as an energizing and nourishing drink that I could just grab straight out of the fridge without having to do any work. And I've fallen in love with it! You can customize the citrus and the herbs that you use to keep it creative, or stick with a combination that you know you love. Green tea is an amazing source of antioxidants, that will help quell inflammation from stress, illness, toxins. In addition, it's a milder source of caffeine than coffee, so I love that it perks me up without any jitters or affecting my sleep that night.
Speaking of sleep, today's video on YouTube Channel Sleep Series is Top 7 Tips for Energy After a Bad Night of Sleep. The first tip I recommend is starting the morning with filtered water with lemon juice, which is totally a great option. However, my Green Tea Herbal Refresher has all of the same positive benefits and more. As I sip on the bright, lovely beverage while going about my morning tasks, I can feel myself getting revitalized and set up for a good day, even if I didn't sleep well.
To learn the other 6 tips I recommend after a rough night, check out my newest Sleep Series video below, and please subscribe if you enjoy it! I also really hope you'll make yourself a Green Tea Herbal Refresher tonight, so you can wake up to something cool, cleansing and hydrating tomorrow.
