Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts |

No frills, delicious, ridiculously easy and packed with nutrition.
I've realized with age that the old adage, 'less is more', is relevant in almost every aspect of life. Certainly when it comes to food, the least amount of ingredients required to achieve the desired result is best. Not only does this save time and money, it allows the chosen ingredients to truly shine.
I've been making a version of these brussels sprouts for years now, and it escaped me that y'all might want the recipe. Why? Because, well, I didn't really see it as a recipe. I saw it as a few flicks of the wrist, a splash of green, a wave goodbye to the oven and voila! A side dish that is perfect in its simplicity and delicious with almost every entree imaginable. Slightly sweet with a kick, balsamic vinegar is a fabulous foil to creamy, earth brussels sprouts, and garlic + onion powder adds a savoriness that is downright addicting.
Thanks to the magic of social media, though, you let me know that you viewed this as a recipe, and one worth having! So Instead of throwing it together by memory, I recorded the details as I cook, and here you are!
I hope this incredible easy and flavorful side becomes a reliable go-to for busy days, as it has for me. Feel free to get creative and throw in some roasted chopped nuts or dried cranberries or feta or crumble bacon...or all of the above.
