INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup full fat coconut milk (canned)
  • 2 stalks organic kale, de-stemmed
  • 1 cup organic romaine or baby spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-4 drops liquid stevia
  • 1/2 cup ice
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine all ingredients in the order listed in a high-powered blender like a Vitamix or Blend-Tec or in a small food processor. Use tamper to mash everything together until it forms the consistency of frozen yogurt. Add water as necessary to get the mixture moving; the amount will vary. Alternately, turn this into a smoothie by add another 1/4 cup coconut milk plus 1/2 cup water.
