This is my first book review on LL Balanced, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Typically, I try to focus on my blog posts exclusively on recipes and, ya know, all things food. However; when I really believe in something, I feel a responsibility to share about it.
And I believe in this book, big time. Raise your hand if you are a woman who feels overwhelmed more than not. I first had the privilege of meeting Dr. Taz last September at the MindBodyGreen Revitalize Conference in Arizona (counting the days till this year’s!). Dr Taz Bhatia is a board certified physician, who is also trained in Ayurveda, Chinese medicine and acupuncture. She practices as a functional, integrative MD, focusing on a whole-system approach to healing that targets the root of illness. An international best-selling author and associate professor, Dr Taz has been featured as a wellness expert on the Today Show, Dr Oz and Live with Kelly, among others.
Suffice it to say, I had no idea why she was interested in chatting with ME. But chat we did, and we immediately hit it off! I think, because, the ultimate goal of our businesses is the same. We both wake up each day to help people, women in particular, achieve lasting, sustainable health and BALANCE

Although I am in good health, there were suggestions that I didn’t realize I needed until I understood them in this context. I now take a supplement as a result of The Super Woman RX, which has helped me feel more relaxed and mentally clear…something I’ve been struggling with though the growth of my business. The book also reinforced decisions I’ve made for myself as my Power Type, such as focusing primarily on low-intensity exercise like walking, yoga and moderate weight-training.
