TOTAL TIME :10minutes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup full fat canned coconut milk
  • 1 1/4 cup frozen banana pieces (use very ripe bananas & freeze in 2 inch pieces)
  • 4 tsp Dandy Blend
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1-2 pitted Medjool dates
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder (sub extract)
  • 1/2 cup ice
  1. Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and puree until smooth. At first it will seem like you need more liquid, but keep blending and it should start to incorporate together. However, feel free to add more coconut milk or water to reach desired consistency.
  2. FOR A LOWER-SUGAR OPTION: Replace half of the banana with 1/2 ripe avocado and substitute 2-3 drops stevia for the medjool dates.

I used Dandy Blend to help me wean off coffee a little over a month ago and it was incredibly helpful. I love this video and I know it will help many!

Tagged along with a friend and sat in on a short class on smoothies with you at Gilda’s Place earlier this year. Became a smoothie junkie. That’s a good thing 🙂 Thanks for helping turn my entire family on to healthy smoothies. My fave? Anything banana!

    • Hey Ryan!!! Thank you for taking the time to comment–I remember you from the class! I’ll be teaching another this Thursday at 10 if you’re around! I’m so happy that you’ve gotten your family on the smoothie train. Make sure you’re following my IG because I post random smoothie recipes there too!
